Cllr McCheyne has been farming Doddinghurst, and his father before him. He brings with him to the Parish Council a wealth of knowledge regarding the history of Doddinghurst.
Cllr McCheyne was previously a Brentwood Borough Council so has a vast amount of useful experience and knowledge on how the Borough Council works, particularly as he was the Planning Committee Chair.
At Doddinghurst Parish Council Cllr McCheyne serves on the Planning and General Purposes Committees.
