Village Fun Day - 5th July 2009

The sun shone for the Parish Council sponsored Fun Day.

The pictues just give a flavour of the day which had music by Thirsty Work, the Essex Dog Display, Displays from the schools, a Hawaiian Disco a visiting magician, and bungie run.

Here are the ladies running the raffle stall with prizes on display.

The Essex Association of Boy's Clubs worked hard all day to make sure those who wanted to tackle its climbing wall had an enjoyable, but safe, day out.

Mr Giggles the stilt walker and juggler proved very popular with spinning plates too!

The Police sent an interceptor unit, the Fire Brigade sent a Fire Tender and the Neighbourhood watch were active canvassing new recruits.

For Food Bert the Butcher was on hand with Burgers, HotDogs and Buns and the Village Hall had its popular bar open for drink service.
